Ja'far Shahidi

Ja'far Shahidi (Born 1918 Boroujerd) is a notable scholar of Persian language and literature and a renowned historian of Islam.
Shahidi studied both in University and Seminary and hold a PhD degree from Tehran University and Ijtihad from Seminaries in Qom and Najaf.[1] He is most notable for his works on Dehkhoda encyclopedia and Mohammad Moin dictionary of Persian language.
He is President of Dehkhoda Institute and also President of the International Center of Teaching Persian Language.
