The city of Jaén, located in the north part of the Department of Cajamarca, and Nor Oriente of the Peruvian territory, comprising part of the Region Saws as districts of Sallique and San Felipe. His warm and humid climate, it is possible to notice two pronounced epochs. The stage understood between November and May with temperatures that they fluctuate between 15th to 33rd. Altitude 740 m.s.n.m. Jaén is a city in the rice-growing region of northern Peru.
