[edit] Cheery Nappy
(nappy is english for diaper - how unfortunate!). I assume these edits were you - please always log in before editing. We only upload images once - the Mediawiki software is very good at resizing. I hate to pick you up on the licence point - I have seen numerous cases of people who upload ripped off images and blatantly claim they made them. But you have been perfectly honest about Image:Chiara nappi.jpg, even so I have had to remove the {{self2}} tag - Kirk T. McDonald still has copyright despite your edits. But contact him - there is an e-mail address at the bottom of this page. Chances are that he will be happy to let Wikipedia use the image providing he is credited. He might even volunteer to walk across the campus and take a specific picture for you! -- RHaworth 01:18, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
I assume your edit to the image description was a mistake - please follow my advice above. I forgot to say above that the default in all publishing is to assume the work is copyright unless a specific copyright release is given. -- RHaworth 01:23, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
Hello RHaworth (Rita Hawort ??)
- -)
I followed your advice and contacted Dr. Kirk T. McDonald, who through email gave me WRITTEN PERMISSION to use his image.
I then have slighlty modified the originale picture, resizing it and adding red color.
The correct copyright tag, then now should become this:
In some countries this is not legally possible; if so:
BTW: I then have added the image tag in the page i was creating, but the image does not appear online (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiara_Nappi).
Do you know why?
What should I do to have the pic visible on the page I am writing on?
[edit] Chiara Nappi
You don't need to be upset about the nomination for deletion. Anybody can nominate anything for deletion at any time. It doesn't follow that the page actually gets deleted, and it is very unlikely that this one will be. :-) Look at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chiara Nappi - so far everybody except the nominator has recommended that the page be kept. Your time is better spent on other things than arguing with Cyclopia about this. (And BTW, I think Wikipedia already has an article on Cicciolina...) up+l+and 18:58, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
Hello Uppland. You liked my bit on Cicciolina, didn't you? Personally, I also loved the one on Rocco Siffredi, another famous italian pornstar... Btw: with all this italian stallions, someone MUST talk about their famous scientists.. otherwise one could think that in italy they are only capable of making love and nothing else... ah ah ah !! --User:J_mcandrews
[edit] Please stop personal attacks
Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. --Cyclopia 23:22, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
alright, alright. bye bye --User:J_mcandrews
[edit] Too many links
Hi. I appreciate your desire to help editing, but adding redundant wiki links (i.e. linking the same word multiple times on page, much less in a single section) as you did with Manhattan Project is NOT correct. See our manual of style entry on overlinking. It is unnecessary and it is not very helpful to readers. --Fastfission 16:49, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Loose Change directors/producers
Given the overlap between these articles and what I see as needless article proliferation, I've proposed a merge of the three articles to Louder than Words. Feel free to weigh in at Talk:Louder than Words. I really feel Dylan, Korey, and Jason are not noteworthy enough to merit their own articles, but I wouldn't mind the material being preserved on the studio's article.--Rosicrucian 20:58, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
