I'm currently working on a Ph.D. in history, with experience in encyclopedia articles.
As a former practicing musician, I have interests in Progressive Rock bands and performers, such as Yes, Trevor Rabin, Rush, and Saga. Principally, I wrote the expansion of Trevor Rabin's stub article over 2004-2006, and also created articles for Canadian bands Saga and Triumph. I also have edited a few other musical entries.
I also contributed greatly to such diverse historical articles on Aaron Burr and the role of Bomb Disposal and EOD in World War II. These are topics I have devoted research toward in my academic pursuits, including a Master's Thesis on the latter subject.
I have also written comments on Doctor Who, particularly criticisms on the new series. As a fan of the classic series from 1963-1989, I have some reservations about its direction.
I also have contributed to role-playing games articles, such as Dungeons and Dragons, especially the World of Greyhawk and the various controversies over RPGs in general.
