[edit] Image:NFLNetwork.png and Image:NationalFootballLeague.png
I noticed that you recently uploaded new, larger versions of these logos. However, under our fair use policy, it states, "The amount of copyrighted work used should be as little as possible. Low-resolution images should be used instead of high-resolution images". Therefore, I have uploaded smaller versions of Image:NFLNetwork.png and Image:NationalFootballLeague.png. Thanks. [edit] Image:JakePlummer.jpg
Are You the copyright holder of this image or can You point in the http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com page where they release their material from copyright? Otherwise this image is copyright violation and has to be deleted from wikipedia. Please sort this out. Thank You. feydey 12:49, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Prime Minister
Paul Martin is Prime Minister of Canada, and will reamin so until Stephen Harper is sworn in by the Governor-General. Wikipedia shouldn't swear him in before the G-G does. Ground Zero | t 04:42, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:JakePlummer.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:JakePlummer.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Sherool (talk) 14:43, 27 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lis of current NHL captains
Do you have a 'source'? backing the Ducks naming Pronger 'interim captain'? Not questioning your facts, just haven't heard about this. GoodDay 23:21, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- It's alright, alternate captain Chris Pronger is wearing the 'C' (as interim captain) until Captain Scott Niedermayer returns to the lineup. Niedermayer is still officially the Ducks captain. GoodDay 21:04, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
