J.R. Hildebrand

J.R. Hildebrand is an American race car driver from California. Hildebrand started racing in go karts, participating in the Red Bull Driver Search in 2004. Although winning no major karting titles, he transitioned to cars, racing in Formula Russel, Pacific F2000 and US Formula Ford 2000. In 2005, he won the Team USA Scholarship, earning a ride in the Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Trophy. In 2006, he dominated the Formula Ford 2000 series, winning the championship and 12 out of 14 races. For 2007, he moves to the Champ Car Atlantic series, driving for Newman Wachs Racing.
