J. Nigro Sansonese

J. Nigro Sansonese is the pen name of author Joseph Sansonese (born 13 May 1946, Buffalo, NY). His main work is The Body of Myth: Mythology, Shamanic Trance, and the Sacred Geography of the Body, a nonfiction work on the relationship between mythology and biology, published in 1994. He was the co-screenwriter of Hurricane Festival, a 1997 feature film, with Alex Lee. His plays include The House on the Point, produced at the Soreng Theater, Eugene, Oregon, 1985, and The Mill at Tour d'Ivoire (Firehouse Theatre, Portland, Oregon, 1984, and at the Green Street Theatre, New York, 1986).
