J. Michael Miller

The Most Reverend John Michael Miller (born July 9, 1946 in Ottawa, Canada), commonly referred to as J. Michael Miller, is the current Roman Catholic archbishop of Vertara and the Secretary of the Congregation for Catholic Education for the Roman Catholic Church. Archbishop Miller is also a member of the Congregation of St. Basil.
From 1992 to 1997, Miller served in the Secretariat of State of the Holy See. From 1997 until his appointment to his current position in 2003, Archbishop Miller was the president of the University of Saint Thomas in Houston, Texas.
