The J. Mack Robinson College of Business is one of the six colleges at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia. Robinson’s premier programs - the Flex M.B.A., Executive M.B.A. and undergraduate program - are all ranked among the best in the nation. The Flexible (part-time) M.B.A. program at the Robinson College of Business has been listed in the US News & World Report top ten for eleven consecutive years. The EMBA is ranked among the best in the world by Financial Times and the undergraduate program is also ranked in the top 50 by U.S. News.

Robinson’s Computer Information Systems department has been ranked first in the world for research productivity in a study published in 2006 in Communications of the Association for Information Systems. In August 2006, the Risk Management and Insurance program was ranked fifth in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. This is the eighth straight time the program finished in the top five.

Robinson College began as the Georgia Tech Evening School of Commerce in 1913. After being moved to downtown Atlanta in 1914, the college continued to develop and by 1955 was named the Georgia State College of Business Administration. In 1998, the college was renamed the J. Mack Robinson College of Business in honor of J. Mack Robinson, Atlanta entrepreneur, businessman and philanthropist who gave the college a $10 million endowment.

Undergraduate Program:
This undergraduate degree offers the Bachelor of Business Administration with ten majors. The Robinson undergraduate degree provides a broad general education, core business knowledge, and the opportunity to major in one of 11 areas.

Flexible MBA Program:
Robinson's nationally-ranked Master of Business Administration program is designed for individuals with work experience who aspire to organizational or entrepreneurial leadership positions. It offers courses in the functional areas of business plus a choice of 17 concentrations and/or majors. It is a structured program that includes core, required courses and electives. The program provides an exceptional blend of innovative instruction and professional experience that is focused on contemporary, real-world business problems and issues.

Specialized Master's Programs:
The specialized master's programs at Robinson provide an incomparable array of choices for in-depth focus on a particular business discipline. Specialized Masters include:

Global Partners MBA Program:
Robinson College has teamed with leading business schools in Paris - IAE the Graduate Business School at the Sorbonne, and Rio de Janeiro - the COPPEAD Graduate School of Business, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - to offer a Global Partners MBA.

Executive MBA Program:
Robinson offers an Executive program leading to a master's degree: the top-ranked Executive MBA Program, with a two-year program of study for a variety of businesspeople from mid career managers who are seeking advancement to senior executives who want to broaden their expertise in specialized areas.

Professional MBA Program:
The new 24-month Professional MBA is now a part of Georgia State University's premier MBA portfolio. Designed for the high potential manager with at least three years professional work experience, the new program offers classes at the downtown campus, at the GSU Alpharetta Center, and at a new Henry County Center.

PhD Program:
The doctoral program at Robinson seeks to develop in the student a high level of competence in conducting basic and applied research and in university teaching.

Graduate Certificate Programs:
Robinson offers five graduate certificate programs, each of which has different requirements for entry.
