J. Chris Campbell

J. Chris Campbell (born December 1972) is an American freelance illustrator and designer.
Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, he attended Winthrop University, where he graduated in 1996 with a BS and a minor in art.
In 2000 J. Chris started a local comic/zine anthology called Wide Awake. With art from Greenville, South Carolina artist's Duane Ballenger, Mike Gowan and Adrew Davis. After the success of the first issue he started a mini-comic and zine publishing company called Wide Awake Press.
J. Chris has contributed to comics anthologies Project:Superior, Superior Showcase #0, Students of The Unusual and SPX 2004.
His first on going comic, Zig Zag[1] was published by AdHouse Books. The second issue to be released in 2006.
In February of 2006 3 Boys Productions released a collection of all the work J. Chris had done for Students of the Unusual. It is a convention special only available from 3 Boys Production or J. Chris Campbell.
