J-13

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The J-13 is a possible heavy-weight version of the J-10 air superiority fighter being devoloped by Chengdu Aerospace to compete with the J-XX by Shengyang Aerospace. The fighter is similar to design to the J-10 and is very similar to the Mikoyan Project 1.44 fifth generation stealth fighter. The J-13 is being developed with the reported help of MiG-MAPO. The J-13 would use two AL-41 turbojet engines with super-cruise and thrust vectoring and would possibly stand a chance against the J-XX in competition.
