Jōkyū

Jōkyū (承久) was a Japanese era after Kenpo and before Jōō that spanned from 1219 to 1222. Reigning emperors were Emperor Juntoku, Chūkyō and Emperor Go-Horikawa. The Jōkyū War took place in 1221, during the Jōkyū era.
