Izzat, is "honor" in Urdu. There is great emphasis put on Izzat in Indian and Pakistani culture. A popular film title, "Izzat" is the name of a 2005 Norwegian film, directed by Ulrik Rolsfen, about Pakistani gangsters, as well as of 1937 and 1968 Indian films, the latter of which stars Dharmendra.
