Izumi (泉村; -mura) was a village located in Yatsushiro District, Kumamoto, Japan. On August 1, 2005, the village merged with four other municipalities into the expanded city of Yatsushiro and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the village had an estimated population of 2,692 and a population density of 10.10 persons per km². The total area was 266.59 km².
