Iwase (岩瀬町; -machi) is a town located in Nishiibaraki District, Ibaraki, Japan.

As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 22,378 and a density of 256.75 persons per km². The total area is 87.16 km².

On October 1, 2005, Iwase merged with the nearby municipalities from the Makabe District to become Sakuragawa
