Ivanhoe (film)

The films Ivanhoe are based on the novel by Sir Walter Scott. The novel has been made into a movie several times, the first filmatisation was done as early as 1913. In 1952 version of Ivanhoe Robert Taylor and Elizabeth Taylor played Ivanhoe and Rebecca and the entire title of the this version was "Sir Walter Scott's Ivanhoe". In 1982 a television version was made. Actors involved in this version where for example John Rhys-Davies and Sam Neil, Rebecca was played by Olivia Hussey.

The television version of Ivanhoe is traditionally shown on new years day in Sweden.
