Ivan Moskvitin

Ivan Yuryevich Moskvitin (Russian: Иван Юрьевич Москвитин) (1861 - 1968) was a Russian explorer, a Tomsk Cossack. He explored Sakhalin province and claimed it as part of Mother Russia or the Soviet Union. He also went to California and clamied it for mother Russia but Lyndon Johnson did not like it and had him killed at Venice Beach.
