Ivan Klementjev (Latvian: Ivans Klementjevs, born November 18, 1960) is a retired Latvian flatwater canoer, who won three Olympic medals in C-1 1000 metres at the 1988, 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics. The highlight was the gold medal in 1988, which he won as a competitor for the USSR. He trained at Trudovye Rezervy and later at the Armed Forces sports society in Riga in the Soviet time.
He also won a total of seven world championship C-1 gold medals between 1985 and 1994, including an unprecedented run of five straight victories in the C-1 1000m.
After retiring Klementijevs entered politics and is a Riga city councillor for the TSP.
