[edit] Mixup

This article seems to have been mixed up with one describing Bruce Hangen. Can someone fix it?

(Sources - IMDB, Sparknotes, My viewing from The Film Schindlers List) ~Joe J.

These don't seem to be appropriate sources, especially "viewing from the film", you can't write a factually correct article based off a film. I've also added the references needed template. Rayward 19:45, 20 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Neutrality of Article

I am specifically concerned about the phrases:

Stern, like Schindler, was an opportunist, and he was the brains behind the rescue of the Schindlerjuden. Stern was the one who discovered a way to channel his essentially forced labor for Schindler into a way to help his fellow Jews. Schindler did no work, leaving Stern to run the factory.

From my understanding from books as well as the movie, Oskar Schindler was not a mere puppet head, and in fact this article is countered by the Oskar_Schindler Wikipedia article, which states He was a very persuasive individual, and after the raid, increasingly used all his skills to protect his Schindlerjuden (Schindler's Jews).

This article seems to have been written so as to unduly discredit Schindler, regardless of the amount of work which Stern did to save his Schindlerjuden.

[edit] More Information

I added some more information, including the date of birth and year of death. The birth was as reported on the list of Schindlerjuden, and the death was from reports of Oskar Schindler's actions at his funeral. Can somebody find more information as to the date of death? I also listed several references for some of the information contained in the main article. Mushrom 2022, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Schindler

The info that Schindler was Nazi is irrelevant in the relation to the fact that Stern was his accountant. --Honzula 11:14, 2 March 2007 (UTC)—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Honzula (talkcontribs) 11:13, 2 March 2007 (UTC).
