ITE College West (ITE CW) (Former Name; ITE West Network) is a vocational institute and currently a name of the former ITE West Network division of the Institute of Technical Education. By 2010, a single campus will be built in the new town of Choa Chu Kang to replace its 5 smaller network campuses as part of ITE's "One ITE System, Three Colleges" plan.

There are currently 5 network campuses in ITE College West.

The ITE College West (Ang Mo Kio Campus) was established in 1984 when it was know as Ang Mo Kio Vocational Institute (AMKVI) under the Vocational & Industrial Training Board (VITB). The old campus recently had gone refurbishment.

The campus' history dates back to the 1930's when the government established the Precision Engineering Institute (PEI). In 1992, the PEI was renamed ITE Balestier under the newly formed Institute of Technical Education (ITE)

The campus opened in January 2000 on a land of 4.6 hectares in the Bukit Batok heartland.

ITE College West (Dover Campus) together with its adjacent complex, ITE Headquarters was officially opened on 28th June 1996. It was previously known as Ayer Rajar Vocational Institute (ARVI) under the VITB

[edit] News of the Proposed campus at Choa Chu Kang

As part of the "One ITE System, Three Colleges" plan, a 10-hectare site at the junction of Bukit Batok Road and Choa Chu Kang Way has been allocated for the new ITE College West campus. It will operate 3 schools, namely the School of Business and Services, School of Engineering and School of Info-Comm Technology. It will have training facilities catering to the retail, hospitality and automotive industry.

Facilities will be similar or better of those at the ITE College East campus.
