In the year 2004 a little group of socialdemocratica origin, has refounded a socialdemocratica ideology party, called Italian Democratic Socialist Party in continuity sign with the historian PSDI.
The party has chosen to place The Union in the center-left, gripping a cooperation privileged relationship with the Democrats of the Left.
