Coordinates: 23°43′02″S, 46°50′58″W Itapecerica da Serra is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2006 is 162,239, the density is 1,071.2 inh./km² and the area is 151 km². The first word of the place name comes from the Tupi language.
