Itajaí is a coastal city in the state of Santa Catarina, Brazil. It is located at around 26°52′60″S, 48°38′60″W.

Founded on 15 June 1860, the city has a large number of German and Portuguese immigrants.

The port of Itajaí is the second largest in Brazil.
