[edit] Trivia

- Sam Kinison was actually considered for the role of Al Bundy when the show was in pre-production, but producers felt he would be too controversial.
- One of the few times that the title is spoken in the series-- in the first part of this episode when Al tells children a mangled-version of It was the Night Before Christmas. He ends it with "And Santa Claus spoke, as he broke wind with glee, when you're married with children....you'll never be free!" He then starts to tell them of the "Red-haired Grinch (Peggy) who Stole Uncle Al's Chances For Success." Another time was when Al told a woman 'I'm married.. with children.'
