The Dream Weavers, a singing group including writers Adkinson and Buff, recorded the biggest version of the song for Decca Records (catalog number 29683), which charted in 1956, reaching #7 on the Billboard charts in the United States and #1 in the United Kingdom. It was also recorded by other artists, including Jo Stafford (Columbia Records catalog number 40595). The song reached #6 on the Cash Box chart, where all versions were combined.
