Itäkeskus (Östra centrum in Swedish - both names mean 'eastern centre' in English) is a district (as of 1980s) in the eastern part of Helsinki. The disctrict's main attraction is the largest covered-in shopping mall in the Nordic countries, Itäkeskus shopping centre. The district has a station on the Helsinki Metro (Itäkeskus metro station).

The population of the district is 4,894 (1 January, 2004) and its area is 1,17 km².
