[edit] Cy's Eyes on the Skies

Cy's Eyes on the Skies (sometimes referred to as Cy's Eyes) is a live 20-minute bi-weekly weather program that airs on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm. Weather topics including national current conditions, national forecasts, and local weather, are discussed by 3-4 weathercasters. Cy's Eyes is one of the longest running television shows on ISUtv. From the video intros used on air to the staffing of the studio during a show, Cy's Eyes is completely student run.

With the help of Des Moines television station KCCI in late 2005, weather programming at ISUtv became more high tech. As KCCI updated their weather graphics computers, the old ones were donated to Iowa State's Department of Geological and Atmospheric Sciences to help with on-air broadcasts.
