Istituto Bruno Leoni

The Istituto Bruno Leoni (IBL) is an Italian libertarian non-profit organization that promote classical liberal ideas in Italy and in Europe, and it assists students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

IBL was founded in 2003 by Carlo Lottieri, Alberto Mingardi and Carlo Stagnaro. Based in Turin, it organizes conferences and seminars in many Italian cities and publishes books, briefing papers and other works.

Honorary president of IBL is Sergio Ricossa, a libertarian economist who worked with Bruno Leoni.

IBL is a member organization of the Cooler Heads Coalition which asserts that the theory of global warming is a myth.
