Talk:Israel Allies Caucus

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This article should not be deleted! Any Congressional caucus is worthy of a page on Wikipedia and should not be discounted just because it is new. Indeed, there are already several links to this page. --Tim

[edit] attempted to delete recently added propaganda - but it was reverted

This section was added recently:

"The Caucus' primary goal is to influence congressional decisions in favor of Israel. Most often at the expense of the United States own best interest.

The main financier of the Caucus is the American Israel Political Action Committee (AIPAC), whose tactics involve intimidation and blackmail to recruit congress members into the Caucus. AIPAC was the main initiator of the Iraq war and is currently advocating a strike on Iran."

I attempted to delete it as propaganda but it was reverted and I was instructed that I needed to prove that it was propaganda before making the deletion.

Can it be stated as a fact, as it is in these paragraphs, that AIPAC was "the main initiator of the Iraq war"?

Nowhere does the Caucus indicate that it's primary goal is to support Israel "at the expense of the United States own best interest."

It seems obvious to me that these paragraphs were added as propaganda and are unsuitable for this entry. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.93.29.49 (talk) 02:43, 8 March 2007 (UTC).
