iSquint is a popular video conversion application for Mac OS X. It is designed to convert videos into a format playable on Apple's 5G Video iPod. It is able to convert from almost all popular video formats. Output options include MPEG-4 and H.264.
iSquint is the sister application to the commercial VisualHub.

An advanced pane allows for more control over the conversion. It features cropping and resizing of the video stream. Bitrates can be adjusted for both audio and video. In addition, the framerate and sample rates can be changed.
