The Isolagen anti-aging process uses naturally produced autologous (patient's own) fibroblast cells.

Isolagen is said to harvest and isolate your own collagen-producing cells, called fibroblasts, which strengthen and rebuild the skin. It claims to result in smoother looking skin, improved texture, tone and resiliency.

From a tiny skin sample, the Isolagen laboratory (based in London, UK) grows millions of your cells, which an Isolagen practitioner will place back into the skin.

Patients and physicians have reported a gradual skin improvement in texture, eveness and elasticity. Apparently, you start to see results 2 months following a treatment. As it is a biological process, the results are natural and gradual and apparently, each treatment builds upon the results of the last, thus actually improving the quality of the skin every time.

Additionally, it seems to work miracles on acne and burns scarring softening permanently the scar. Interestingly, Isolagen is the only treatment that respects all skin colours without affecting the pigmentation as it uses the own person's skin cells.
