Isobel Redmond is an Australian politician who has been the sitting Liberal member for the electoral district of Heysen since 2002.

Prior to her election in to politics, Redmond was a solicitor and has been very heavily involved in local community activities as can be seen through her parliament profile.

The 2006 election saw Redmond decrease her margin to 3.0%, making it marginal territory. While working as a lawyer for an Aboriginal tribe on the state's West Coast, she was bestowed an Aboriginal name Joondinya, meaning dolphin. This has earned her the Parliamentary nickname Flipper.[1]
