Ismail Dawood

Ismail Dawood (born July 23, 1976 in Dewsbury) is a former professional cricketer currently (as of July 2006) playing with Herefordshire County Cricket Club. He had previously lined up for Northamptonshire, Worcestershire, Yorkshire, and Glamorgan.
Dawood played eight youth Test matches for England Under-19s. He was a lower-middle order batsman and wicket-keeper, with a first-class average of around 22. He first represented Northamptonshire in the Second XI Championship in 1994, and between 1997 and 1999 appeared extensively in the competition, in the interim playing regularly in First-class cricket matches.
He played Twenty20 cricket in 2004 and 2005, scoring 44 runs at 8.8.
In 39 first class matches he scored 1122 runs at 22 with a best of 102. He took 94 catches and completed 6 stumpings. In 51 list A one day matches he scored 732 runs at 21.52 with a tops score of 60, taking 44 catches and making 14 stumpings. In his 8 youth tests he scored 240 runs with a best of 111 at 21.81 and took 16 catches and 4 stumpings.
