Talk:Isle of Axholme

What does this mean by the "Old River Don"? The old course of the river? The modern course appears to go quite a long way west of the modern county boundary, and if used as a boundary would include Hatfield, which is definitely and always has been in Yorkshire, in the Isle. There is a River Torne which appears to vaguely approximate the western and northern border of Lincolnshire here. Is this the right one? Morwen - Talk 08:27, 9 November 2005 (UTC)
