[edit] Communities

None of the listed communities appear to be official names locations in Louisiana. Can someone please explain? -- Jmabel | Talk 20:03, September 6, 2005 (UTC)

They are real places, listed on many maps for hundreds of years (look in any good atlas at the section of St. Bernard Parish beween the Mississippi River and Lake Borgne and you should see at least several of them). What do you mean as "official" names? Possibly the US census lumps them in with other larger St. Bernard cities or towns for census purposes? We could use articles on several of them at least. -- Infrogmation 13:29, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Title

The article is at IsleñosIsleños, but now says Islenos throughout. Which is correct? - Jmabel | Talk 04:49, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Language

Also, the statement that some speak an archaic Spanish dialect was replaced by "Spanish (with a Canary Islander accent)". I have no idea which is correct; no citation was provided for the change. - Jmabel | Talk 04:51, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gallego

Why is "gallego" (pejorative) used instead of peninsular spaniard, or a similar term in this article? Is there a "gallego" people (outside of galicians) I am not aware of? --Bistor92 05:37, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Bad Map

This map is awful. The state of Michigan is completely formless. It is not encyclopedia-quality. 206.135.142.245 21:33, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
