  • The last sentence is very poorly gramatically structured:

"While President Ahmadinejad is a member of the society, the society did not support him for the Iranian presidential election of 2005 which led to Ahmadinejad's election in the second round, but supported Ali Larijani instead."

It should read something like this: While President Ahmadinejad is a member of the society, the society did not support him for the Iranian presidential election of 2005 - instead supporting Ali Larijani. This led to Ahmadinejad's election in the second round.

It reads much more cleanly that way.
