Islamic Movement of Tajikistan

The Islamic Movement of Tajikistan is the branch of the Islamic Movement of Central Asia, an Islamic terrorist organization, that operates in Tajikistan. The IMCA, and by extension the IMT, is affiliated with Al Qaeda.
Intelligence analysts in the United States Guantanamo Bay detainment camp say it exists and is linked to terrorism.[1]
The leader of the Islamic Movement of Tajikistan is also the leader of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan.

Sahkhrukh Hamiduva, a young teenage captive held in extrajudicial detention in Guantanamo based in part on an alleged association with the Islamic Movement of Tajikistan. Among the allegations he faced during his Combatant Status Review Tribunal were:[1]
