A legendary Right winger from Pakistan, who led Pakistan to Hockey World cup glory in 1978. Not only Pakistan won World Cup in 1978 under his leadership but completed a grand slam by winning the Champions Trophy and Asian Games Gold medals as well. He was born in 1949 in Meerut , India. Islah after his retirement from the sport has been associated with sport as a coach and manager of the National team along with commentator and member of the FIH rules board.
