Ishwardi is located at 24.1500° N 89.0667° E . It has 39112 units of house hold and total area 246.9 km².

As of 1991 Bangladesh census^GRBangladeh, Ishwardi has a population of 236825. Males constitute are 51.88% of the population, and females 48.12%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 111338.
