Isha, (born May 1, 1962 in Melbourne, Australia) is a modern day spiritual teacher who has become very popular throughout Latin America. She travels the world giving conferences on the expansion of consciousness and enlightenment, and teaching the Isha System, a comprehensive system for self healing and stress relief.[1]

Isha was born and raised in Australia by adoptive parents in a comfortable middle class environment. From an early age,her passion for horses was clear, and she soon started working in the racing industry, becoming a succesful horse trainer. In her later years, she became a professional singer, before leaving everything to become a spiritual teacher.[2]

Isha travelled to Venezuela, bringing the Isha System to South America for the first time. the response from the public was such that she quickly gained a massive following, with thousands of people from all walks of life coming to her conferences.[3]

In June, 2005, Isha began to teach the "Isha System", which consists of the Isha Keys/Ascension attitudes, a series of simple mechanical techniques that expand and stabilize consciousness, together with 6 other steps, which Isha used to reach her own "awakening".[4]

Isha is President of the International Isha Foundations (Fundacion Isha Educando para la Paz) in Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Paraguay, Brasil, Colombia, Venezuela, Panama, Costa Rica and Mexico.[5]

Isha has written 5 books. The most recent two, "Consciousness Revolution, A New Vision for Life" (2005) and "Consciousness Revolution II, The Expansion Continues" (2006) Are a collection of questions and answers from many of her students from around the world. They attempt to answer all of the questions that have baffled humanity: Who am I, Why am I here, what is love, etc. She also writes a monthly column for "Alo", the magazine of the prominent Colombian Newspaper, "El Tiempo".[6]

Many of Isha's themes and perceptions are stated in her book, "Consciousness Revolution". She presents herself as an enlightened being, and says she experiences love in everything, beyond the apparent illusion of duality. She teaches that everything humanity searches for can be found within ourselves, and that true fulfilment can only be reached through the expansion of consciousness.[7]

Consciousness is the absolute truth, it is an experience of love, it is infinite and has no limits, and it is within everything. Traditions are based in the illusion of time and space. They are made up of stagnant belief systems that have become rigid with time, not flowing with the natural changes of life. These belief systems make people feel safe, because they have a set of rules to follow, but they are false idols, because they are just belief systems. Consciousness cannot be contained within a tradition, it only exists in the eternal present, and is constantly evolving, growing and expanding in infinite, eternal love.[8]

Imagine for a moment that you are truly beautiful. Imagine for one moment that you are perfect exactly as you are. Imagine for a moment that you are the source of all love. Imagine you are god having a human experience. Imagine life full of innocence, joy and absolute freedom. Imagine if when you looked in the mirror, the face looking back at you where someone you truly loved. JUST IMAGINE.[9]
