Isanosaurus (meaning "Northeastern Thailand Lizard") was one of the first true sauropods, with all four legs always on the ground. It lived 200 million years ago in Southeast Asia. The type species was Isanosaurus attavipachi. It is most notable for being one of the earliest known dinosaurs; its fossils were found in strata dating to the Triassic Period.
