Isaiah Osbourne (born 15 November 1987 in Birmingham, England) is an English professional footballer who currently plays in midfield for Aston Villa, and is a former England Under-16 international.
He attended Kingsbury School and Sports college (Kingsbury Road, Erdington) from 1999 until 2004.
Tall, Osbourne has been compared to former Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira, who is his role model.[citation needed]
Osbourne was given the squad number 27 after Martin O'Neill's arrival at Aston Villa. Osbourne made his Premiership debut on 21st October 2006, when he came on as a second half substitute for Steven Davis against Fulham at Villa Park. Since then he has become a regular in the villa squad with the likes of McCann, Petrov, Davis, Barry and Hendrie.
The former England Under-16 international made his name as one of the stars of a strong Aston Villa reserve outfit and the club are keen to tie him down on a long-term deal.
Isaiah has a brother who plays the same position at local rivals Coventry City called Isaac Osbourne.
