The Isaac M. Wise Temple is a Jewish temple located at Ridge Road in Cinciannati, Ohio. The temple is also known as K. K. B'nai Yeshurun and the Plum Street Temple, was led by Rabbi Isaac Mayer Wise. Upon completion, the historic temple cost a total of $263,525 during the year 1866. This building was constructed by James Keyes Wilson with a 19th century Germanic architectural style based upon the Byzantine-Moorish architecture of Golden-Age Spain. All examples of similar architecture in Germany was destroyed by Adolf Hitler. The one other temple with similar construction resides in New York City. The Issac M. Wise congregation soon built the Wise Center, which houses their sunday school and weekly services. They offer amazing hebrew and sunday school curriculum, teaching not just the Torah, but ethics. They also have a service organization that allows a few eighth graders to create their own service drives, this is called iMitzvah.

[edit] iMitzvah

iMitzvah is a group of dedicated eighth graders who plan service drives for the temple. They meet every month or so and come up with ideas that are helpful not just to the temple, but to the world around them. Through this they learn planning and leadership skills that they carry with them through their life.
