Irvine Victoria F.C.

Irvine Victoria Football Club is a Scottish football (soccer) club, based in the town of Irvine, North Ayrshire. Nicknamed Wee Vics and "Westenders", they were formed in 1904. They play at Victoria Park, in Irvine Ayrshire. Currently playing in the West Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they wear orange, blue and white stripes (uniforms).
The club's local rivals are Irvine Meadow.
Despite their considerable deficit in financial status and league position, Irvine Victoria recently defeated Scottish Junior Cup semi-finalists and local rivals Irvine Meadow by 4-3 at Meadow Park in the annual Mayrmass Derby. The win in August 2006 is the first time in 9 years the Westenders have enjoyed success in this fixture.
