[edit] Battle Story

In ZAC 2100, the Helic Republic developed a new version of the venerable Gojulas, equipped with an Organoid System. While the system greatly improved the Zoid's performance, it also made the Zoid all but uncontrollable. In response, the Republican army hired experienced mercenary pilots, Irvine included, to pilot the Zoids into battle.

Irvine remained a Gojulas pilot with the Republican army until ZAC 2106. During the Neo-Zenebas invasion of the Central Continent, Irvine's Gojulas the Ogre was attacked by a force of Dark Spiners lead by a Death Stinger. Irvine's Zoid was outnumbered and disabled, Irvine himself apprently killed in the battle, though he succeeded in holding them off until the Gojulas Giga could be activated and destroy what was left of the force.
