The LGG has late 447 CY for the formation of the Iron League (p 57). Which is correct?-Robbstrd 19:39, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Not sure, except that the Guide has it at 446, and I like to use that as the key touchstone. Only under very, very rare circumstances should something stated flatly in that resource be considered "wrong." Let's leave it at 446 for now and change if if later research turns up a good reason why the date may have been different in the LGG.--Iquander 08:01, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

I found the problem. Check the Irongate entry in the Guide--it says envoys from Irongate were sent to the Herzog in 446, who were killed, & the following year, the southern provinces rebelled & the iron League was founded.--Robbstrd 19:31, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
