Irma Blanco

Irma Blanco Is a radio personality from Los Angeles, CA. Born and Raised in Monterey Park, CA, she has worked all over the country – Miami, Riverside, CA, San Francisco and Chicago, but according to Blanco "nothing compares to the City of Angels!!" Blanco is of Cuban heritage.
Formerly of WRCX-FM 103.5 and was the "voice of reason" for the nationally syndicated morning radio talk show, Mancow's Morning Madhouse in Chicago, hosted by Erich "Mancow" Muller. Blanco was with Mancow from 1994, when she show debuted in Chicago until July 1998 when she left the station and the show. The station, the parent company, and both Mancow and Irma were being sued by Keith Van Horn, a former NFL Player, but the lawsuit was settled before she decided to leave the windy city. She found a better job offer to go back home to Los Angeles when her contract was up - Mancow opted to go across the street to the rival station.
Blanco is currently married and performing her broadcasting duties at KBIG-FM 104.3 in Los Angeles, CA. She runs weekday mornings 5-9a, pacific time (updated 12.10.05) as the co-host (with news and entertainment) on the KBIG Morning show with the legendary Charlie Tuna.
Blanco has since become pregnant and is expecting her first child with husband, Pete, in February 2007. Blanco's interests are cooking, gardening, reading, go to Los Angeles Kings Hockey games and hanging with husband Pete, with her friends and "100-plus" relatives in So-Cal.
