Irisbus Citelis
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Irisbus Citelis is a wheelchair-accessible city bus model produced by Irisbus. It was introduced in 2005 to replace the Agora model. It comes in two varieties: Citelis 12, which is of standard 12 m length, and Citelis 18, which is articulated (18 m length). Citelis models use a Euro 4 motor. The buses can also be used as trolleybuses, utilising overhead electrical wires for their power supply instead of fuel.
[edit] Use
Citelis vehicles were introduced in 2007 on Bucharest's trolleybus network run by RATB. They are also used by Germany's VER and in Brno, Czech Republic.
