Irene Pacheco

Irene Pacheco (born on March 26, 1971 in San Juan de Uraba, Colombia) is a former world boxing champion.
Known as "Mambaco", Pacheco turned pro in 1993 and won the Vacant IBF Flyweight Title with a TKO of Luis Cox Coronado in 1999. He defended the belt six times before losing it to Vic Darchinyan by TKO in 2004. He moved up in weight and took on Jhonny Gonzalez in March of 2007, but lost via TKO, possibly signaling the end of his career.
