Irene Ann Heffernan Ho (b. 1951) is the former Honorary Vice-Consul-in charge and Acting Honorary Consul of Ireland to Hong Kong[1].
As of 1st December, 2006, Mrs. Ho has retired from her diplomatic position, and joined a well known international firm, based in Chicago.
Ho was born in Wexford, Ireland as Irene Ann Heffernan. The 'Ho' in her surname was adopted after her marriage to Freddy Ho, a civil servant in the HKSAR. Ho received her bachelors and masters degrees from from Trinity College in Dublin.
Currently, Ho divides her time between her home in Hong Kong and her Chicago-based office.
Mr and Mrs Ho have a daughter, Tessa and three sons, Daniel, Thomas and Patrick.
